Various Advance Estimates of National Income

 

    • First Advance Estimates (FAE): The estimate is made carefully by analysing the GDP forecast of the earlier financial year. Usually, the first advance estimates are released soon after the third fiscal quarter (Q3), but it does not include the data from this quarter.

Release date – First Week of January of the current financial year.

 

    • Second Advance Estimates (SAE): The National Statistics Office (NSO) releases the 2nd advance estimates in the last week of February.
    • Provisional Estimates: 2 months after the completion of financial year (In the month of May of the next financial year)
    • 1st Revised Estimates: 10 months after the completion of the financial year. Generally, on 31st January of the next financial year.
    • 2nd Revised Estimates: 1 year and 10 months after the completion of the financial year.
    • 3rd Revised Estimates: 2 years and 10 months after the completion of the financial year.
