The application window reopened on October 18, 2024, and will close on November 22, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years as of January 1, 2025.
Educational Qualification: A degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.

Vacancies:

A total of 457 vacancies are announced across disciplines:

Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

This includes 225 positions for the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS).

Examination Dates:

Preliminary Examination: Scheduled for June 8, 2025.
Main Examination: Scheduled for August 10, 2025.

Application Process:

Applications are to be submitted online through the UPSC website.
The application fee is ₹200, with exemptions for Female, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
