- Wangari Maathai Forest Champions Award 2024: Honors individuals promoting community forest management, includes $20,000 cash prize, established in Wangari Maathai’s memory.
- Collado’s Role: President of Macatumbalen Community-Based Forest and Coastal Management Association (MBFCMA), leading reforestation and conservation efforts in San Vicente, Palawan.
- MBFCMA Achievements: Reforested 1,450 hectares, protected 400 hectares of forest, and improved community livelihoods since 2002.

About the Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF):
- It is an innovative voluntary interagency partnership on forests that was established in April 2001 in response to an invitation issued in the resolution 2000/35 by the Economic and Social Council of the UN (ECOSOC) that established the International Arrangement on Forests and the UN Forum on Forests (UNFF). The Partnership is currently comprised of fifteen international organizations, institutions and secretariats that have substantial programmes on forests.
